At Creekside
Provisions + Supplies,
we're a cafe, gourmet market, bottle shop, art gallery, + place to find that thing you didn't know you always needed.
Mostly, we revel in the little things that allow you to slow down and enjoy. you know...that fresh bag of locally roasted coffee...a good bottle of wine and new game to play with your crew...that decadent ice cream sandwich (with zero calories, only when on vacation)...a locally baked loaf of the best sourdough...and one of our soft-as-clouds Berkeley Springs sweatshirts to always remind you what it felt like to just sit back and relax...

Who runs this joint?
Hi! We're Jeff + Sam, the owners of Creekside Provisions + Supplies. It's hard to believe we're finally at the point of writing a bio on a website for this place...as it has taken centuries (or a year and a half) to make our spot come to fruition. When we bought this nearly 100-year-old building in 2023, it was in pretty rough shape. It had been a horse stable, blacksmith shop, jewelry store, car repair garage (check out the hidden treasure we exposed in the ceiling from this era inside!), and--most recently--a beloved ice cream shop. We knew this building's story wasn't over...so after gutting, designing, and renovating every surface (EVERY. SURFACE.) from top to bottom, we then decided to jump head first into opening this little shop/cafe. I (Sam) was an exhibit/graphic designer in my "former" life, and grew up in retail, and Jeff has had just about every job under the sun--from deputy director of public works to owning a small catering company. On the side, we both found a love in renovating and designing short-term-rentals together (check out our other spot in Berkeley Springs, Camp Potomac Peak // www.camppotomacpeak.com). While this shop is a whole new venture for us, it has felt like a culmination of everything we've learned along the way. Now that the sawdust and nervous panic is behind us, we couldn't be more excited to get to grow, work with people we love, see the smiling faces of our favorite regulars, and help foster a welcoming community space.
